Estimator - Structural Steel - Chesterfield - Excellent Salary & Benefits

In this varied hands on role you will join an established sub contract steel services team within a well-established sub contract and installation company working with structural steelwork; steel frame structures, secondary steelwork packages, lattice trusses and tubular steel, steel platforms and gantries, staircases, balconies and balustrades, bespoke fabrication etc.

Key Duties for the Estimator - Structural Steel will involve:
Liaising with clients to collate requirements and specifications from tender documents

Conduct accurate take-offs and bill of quantities

Formalising final quotations for clients and following up

Build and develop relationships with clients to encourage repeat business

Manage job costing throughout each project from design to completion and producing regular financial reports

Ensure that project deadlines are adhered to

Required skills Estimator - Structural Steel with:
Must have Estimator, Draughtsman, Welder or Fabricator experience within the steel industry

Must be an outgoing character who will be an integral part of the team

IT literate in Microsoft Office/Excel

Ability to read structural engineer drawings and specifications

Excellent attention to detail

Good numeracy and literacy skills

Exceptional time management and organisational skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
