We work in partnership with all local authorities in the Southeast to assist with a variety of housing demands.

Job purpose:


An organised and confident individual is required to join this fast paced, innovative organisation, who are currently expanding and provide temporary accommodation on behalf of local councils in the southeast.

Our Projects, Support and Safeguarding team aims to manage our assets across Kent and Sussex, while assisting the local authority housing departments with some light support for their homeless households and individuals.


Duties will include:


  • Travelling between households of temporary accommodation across Kent to meet the operational needs of the business.
  • Providing light support to clients and signposting/referring to relevant agencies as appropriate.
  • Asset management in the form of property and room inspections.
  • Reporting any repairs to the relevant teams within Paramount.
  • Welfare checks on clients and raising any safeguarding alerts as appropriate.
  • Maintaining the appearance and cleanliness of the communal areas to shared accommodation.
  • Complete Sign-In and Sign-Out paperwork with residents as they join or leave the scheme.
  • Resident management.

Duties in common with other members of the team:

  • To be a positive ambassador for Paramount Independent Property Services.
  • To undertake any other reasonable duty that may be required from time to time.

  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Customer service focused with confident client facing responsibilities.
  • Maintain clear, professional boundaries, while promoting client's independence and meaningful community presence.
  • Ability to work with vulnerable adults with occasional complex needs.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with partner organisations, external agencies and relevant voluntary and statutory agencies and individuals over a wide range of issues affecting our clients.
  • Good timekeeping skills.
  • The ability to think on your feet.
  • Computer Literate.
  • Maintain clear and accurate records of support and communication within the service, ensuring confidentiality.
  • An understanding of client confidentiality and Data Protection Regulations.
  • To undertake any other reasonable duties that may be requested from time to time.
  • Housing/Homelessness (or similar) experience (but not essential).
  • Housing Management (no experience necessary).
  • You must pass a DBS check and be a UK citizen or free to work in the UK. Evidence of this will be requested.
  • A full driver's license.

Experience would be an advantage but not essential as all training will be given.

You must be an excellent communicator, have good customer service skills and have a friendly and helpful approach.

Hours of work will predominantly be 8am - 6.30pm, Monday - Sunday, 4 days on, 3 days off.

All equipment and clothing are provided. You must pass a DBS check and be a UK citizen or free to work in the UK. Evidence of this will be requested.
