The Senior IT Business Analyst will join the Technology Business Office supporting product domains across the exchange.

As a Senior IT Business Analyst, you will be tasked with determining which data are needed to address a specific need, how to compile thesedata into information, and how to accurately and thoughtfully present the information so teams can make informed decisions about their product s.


Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate with members of Technology, Business, Finance (and others) to develop product health recommendations required in support of portfolio opportunities
  • Use business data platforms, such as Looker, to build dashboarding in support of datadrive decision making
  • Support team adoption of cost optimization accelerators
  • Establish trusted working relationships and grow them over time
  • Lead elicitation, discovery, prototyping, and business analysis activities
  • Perform analysis work, including user stories

Qualifications/ Experience:

  • B.A. or B.S. in business, information systems, computer science or equivalent relevant experience could substitute.
  • 4 + years of business systems analysis, architecture, or related area experience
  • Prior experience in use of BI reporting tools to deliver focused reporting across a diverse user base
  • Design and map data models to shift raw data into meaningful insights; ability to build multidimensional data models
  • Study, analyze and understand business requirements in context to business intelligence.
  • Experience in product development, SDLC, Agile methodologies and practices
Desirable Experience

  • Experience in Financial Markets ( e.g. exchangebased, OTC, FCM, brokerage house, private equity, proprietary trading)
  • Knowledge of financial products, electronic trading, order management, market data, clearing, or posttrade processing
  • Knowledge of relational databases, programming languages
  • Prior experience using Atlassian products ( e.g. JIRA, Confluence)
  • Prior experience using Google Cloud products ( e.g. Looker)
  • Prior experience using Software AG products ( e.g. Alfabet )
