Credit Control Manager / Permanent / Full-Time / Hybrid Working - up to £38,000 per annum

Are you a passionate Senior Credit Control professional looking for a new challenge, where you can take a lead in implementing your own processes and have a positive impact on the company's future growth? Then this opportunity is made for you This highlysuccessful company are looking for an experienced Credit Control Manager to take a lead on building the in-house Credit Control processes and someone who has the confidence to proactively chase debt.

You will be working within a flexible environment whereyou are only required to be in the office 2 days per week.

Responsibilities

To take the lead building the company's Credit Control Processes
Project implementation
Liaising with the current out sourced credit control team to understand process and facilitate transfer
Coordinating finance staff when it comes to Credit Control
Reporting to key stake holders
Accounts Manager, Financial Controller, CFO
Negotiating repayment terms with customers
To play a part in driving good business practices across the company
Checking customer's credit and approving or denying it, based on industry standards
Setting up repayments and working with Debt Counsellors
Ensuring customers pay on time and charge them for overdue invoices
Starting legal proceedings if clients do not pay their debts on time
Liaising with Solicitors and Bailiffs
Maintaining accurate records
General sales ledger and client database administration and housekeeping, ensuring contact and key details are consistently up to date with strong attention to detail
Ensuring that all relevant and important information is recorded within the appropriate client files / operating system
