We are looking for a Quality Inspector who is competent with assessing components to ensure they are created to a high standard.

A large manufacturing company with over 50 years experience, specialising in heavy duty machinery.

They pride themselves with the best technology to produce top quality, highly durable products, with a high proportion of manufacturing carried out in-house.

Duties:

Flag any rejects/rework data by activity, process, department, individual etc.
Manage process improvements through liaison with all departments
Log and monitor quality issues
Monitor and expedite design improvements with the Drawing Office.
Monitor and improve jigs used in the manufacturing build process's
Involved in establishing quality standards for production of new products.
Improve and implement process change to ensure repetitive mistakes are minimised
Perform measurements of all parts requiring quality checks
Maintain gauge calibration status within the organisation
Partake in quality audits when required and report any findings to your supervisor

To be considered for this exciting Quality Inspector role, you will need the following experience:
Experience as a Quality Inspector or similar role
Familiar with quality testing machines and systems
Industry experience within a manufacturing or engineering sector is required
Reading engineering drawings
A thorough understanding of quality control standards
Strong problem solving capabilities with high attention to detail.
Working alone or as part of a team with the ability to make decisions in a timely manner
