QA Surveyor

This is a full time position Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 6pm

Basic Salary up to £50,000 per annum, depending upon level of experience

You will be based from home, however you will be expected to travel on occasion, including to our Head office in Surrey.

We have Chartered Surveyors across the UK, and we are continuing to grow, and develop our services and standards, and so in order to support our journey, we are now looking for a Quality Assurance Surveyor to support the Head of QA.


This is an exciting opportunity for a RICS qualified Chartered Surveyor who has an excellent eye for detail, and enjoys auditing reports in order to drive standards and maximise the level of service that our Surveyors are able to provide our clients.

Requirements:


T his role is responsible for the effective and efficient delivery of a wide variety of operational and regulatory audits.

Our internal Quality Assurance team undertake the monthly audit requirements, along with pre-delivery audits for new recruits, any agreed pre-delivery audits for new clients and other requests from the Senior Management Team and Board.

In this role, you will be expected to review, collate and present the findings to the Head of QA in a timely manner.

Duties will include;

  • Completing monthly audit requirements in a timely and accurate manner using the Company's audit matrix.
  • Providing monthly reports based on audit trends, to the Head of QA, that will feed into Senior Management and Board meetings.
  • Reporting audit findings to Head of QA.
  • Identifying and reporting on key trends and identify any areas of concern
  • Responding quickly and professionally to incoming enquiries from external auditors and external audit results.
  • Ensuring service standards, turnaround times and all other relevant KPI targets are achieved.
  • Providing ad hoc advice and guidance to Surveyors where appropriate.
  • In the absence of the Head of QA, as delegated; help with managing the internal audit function to ensure that efficiencies and systems are maintained to the required high standard.
  • Post qualification experience as a RICS qualified surveyor for a minimum of 2 years
  • Audit experience within a property or general business role for a minimum of 1 year
  • Excellent attention to detail, with a focus and consistency of approach
  • Determined, driven and capable of working alone as position will be remote from Head of QA
  • Ability to work as part of a team, effectively contributing toward departmental projects, KPI's and wider objectives, and recognises the need to support others even where this is likely to increase personal workload
  • The ability to think objectively, use your initiative and demonstrate sound judgement, and considered decision making
  • The ability to form good professional relationships internally and externally
  • Enjoys learning new technology and processes
