CMA Recruitment Group has been engaged to recruit exclusively for our Bournemouth, Dorset based client who are growing Healthcare business.

Our client would like to appoint an Accounts Assistant to join their vibrant finance team on a permanent basis, this is a crucial role for our client and will strengthen their busy finance function as they experience business success.

Reporting into a Financial Controller, you will have a varied range of responsibilities within transactional finance and have ownership of your own portfolio of accounts.


What will the Accounts Assistant role involve?

  • The Accounts Assistant is responsible for all postings for various entities within this business, sales ledger processing and all associated query resolution;
  • Complex bank reconciliations statements on a daily basis and ensuring these are completed to strict timeframes;
  • Ensuring all transactions are posted correctly and efficiently on Sage;
  • Assisting with system changes and improving efficiencies, reporting to senior management on progress.
  • You will be an AAT studying Accounts Assistant or similar accounting qualifications with a keenness to progress your career in finance;
  • Proven ability in sales ledger and reconciliations, able to complete these accurately and efficiently;
  • Will be a confident systems user, ability to use systems such as Sage and Excel to an intermediate level;
  • Ideally you will be a confident communicator and happy to liaise at all levels within the business.
