The role

We are looking for a talented, enthusiastic and hard-working placement student with a keen interest in marketing, PR and social media.

During your placement, and under the guidance of the Marketing Manager, you will provide support and assistance in delivering the day-to-day marketing tasks and projects at GOSS.

You will also play an important part in creating and distributing marketing communications externally to our audiences in local and central government, police and healthcare.

During your placement you will work closely with various teams at GOSS including those in Sales, Creative and Product Management.

About you
We are looking for somebody with a love for marketing and/or communications. You may have also had experience in delivering marketing, advertising, communications and/or social media campaigns.

You should be able to demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, have a confident ability in research and data analytics, and have high attention to detail, creative skills and a need for consistency.

Having an enthusiasm for new technologies and digital self-service is not essential, but preferred.

Qualifications

You should either be studying or have recently received a degree (or equivalent) in marketing or a related discipline, and/or industry experience in a relevant field.

Phase 2: Those who pass the initial interview will then be invited to take part in a second interview taking place thereafter

Interview details

Initial interviews will be via Teams with our Department Lead and If successful you will be invited to attend a competency-based interview either here at the GOSS offices in Plymouth or again via Teams which will last approximately 1.5 hours You will be expected to be able to evidence previous examples of your work.
