A new opportunity has arisen to join the business as a
Workshop Administrator at our
Basingstoke site.


What you'll be doing:


  • Create estimates and communicate to customer for authorisation
  • Work together with reception in loading your workshop
  • Effectively evaluate and run all daily activities with workshop control
  • Guide, advise Technicians with ongoing repairs
  • Keeping up to date with DAF processes and procedures
  • Constantly look for opportunities to improve labour efficiencies
  • Monitor all work in progress
  • Adhere to company operating procedures
  • Ensure that the customer's requirements on order numbers are met before issuing instruction to Technician.
  • Carry out contract review
  • Raising estimates & liaising with customers in regards to authorisation for work to be carried out.
  • Raising final cost invoices and Purchase order numbers
  • Invoicing of job cards
  • Assisting reception when required with customers, arranging bookings and telephone enquiries

What we need from you:


  • Strong administration experience previous service admin experience desirable but not essential
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Organised and good attention to detail
  • Ability to adapt quickly
  • Previous experience using invoicing systems
