G&P Healthcare is a nurse-led company rated as Outstanding by CQC.

We are looking for a care assistant to join our brilliant team supporting a young woman with an acquired brain injury in her own home south west Ashington area.

This client suffered a brain injury from a car accident and she is wheelchair bound and has some behaviours caused by her injury.

We currently have vacancies for 12 hour night shifts, you will be working a mixture of waking and sleeping shifts.

Pay rate £11.55 per hour for waking nights and £10.42 per hour for sleeping night shift.

The care is 2 to 1 and you will be given shadow shifts with competent staff to help with your learning.

You will be working a rolling 4 week rota so a work-life balance can be achieved.

Full training on her needs and brain injury will be given. Some of her needs involving peg feeds, medications, positive management of behaviours, social outings and health related issued due to her condition

ESSENTIAL

Must have 6 months minimum recent paid care experience:

Have a caring and patient attitude

Client happy to have both male and female carers.
