Key Responsibilities:


The post holder is responsible for managing the administrative systems which are in place to support the work of the Housing Services Department.


This will include:

  • Manage the housing services support team providing a service to housing officers, and providing a frontline service to tenants and internal customers
  • Oversee the operation of direct debit, standing order and allpay transactions, HB/UC payments and postings
  • Maintain rent registration details, oversee delivery of rent review correspondence, and collaborate with departments to successfully deliver the services
  • Utilise the tenant information management system ensure the tenant information is up to date and accurate
  • Deal with tenants regarding queries of rents and service

About you:

You will be educated to Higher grade level or equivalent, with a relevant business administration qualification.

You will have an extensive experience within business administration, and experience of working within a front-line customer service role displaying excellent interpersonal and customer care skills, and experience of reviewing and improving systems and/or administrative processes.

You will have experience of organising others to ensure that deadlines are met and organising tasks to meet competing priorities.


You will be an excellent communicator both with internal and external contacts, have great level of accuracy, excellent attention to detail, good problem-solving skills, and demonstrate initiative to solve problems.

You will have strong IT skills including the ability to use MS365 packages, particularly Excel, and have ability to analyse data to compile statistical reporting.

£33,966 per year

Annual leave: pro-rata 28 days annual leave, plus 9 fixed public holidays - total 37 holidays per year.
