We are looking for an ambitious and entrepreneurial account management leader to join our Operations team.

Reporting to the Operations Director, the Head of Account Management will be building a team focused on delighting our clients, delivering excellent customer service and supporting client growth.

Key Responsibilities:


The job in two lines:

You will design, build and lead a team of Account Managers who will drive client satisfaction, retention and growth, instilling best practices and scalable processes that drive operational excellence to enable UnaTerra to continue to scale.


You will work closely with other leaders within operations, and cross-functionally, to look for opportunities to improve how we delivery, all in the vision of what is best for the client and UnaTerra as we grow.


This will include, but not limited to:

  • Building, developing and leading an account management team, including setting and measuring performance targets.
  • Creating account management best practice, processes, documentation, training.
  • Managing your own portfolio of clients while supporting a team to do the same.
  • Being the point of escalation for client issues and managing them in the best way for client & UnaTerra.
  • Clearly communicating issues and risks to the appropriate stakeholders.
  • Working with sales to negotiate contract renewals.
  • Identifying upsell / crosssell opportunities.
  • Maintaining an uptodate knowledge of company products, services, methodologies, policies, and procedures.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise:


  • Experience hiring for and leading an account management function in a servicedelivery business.
  • Excellent written and oral communication across all levels; including with clients, colleagues and management.
  • Excellent team leader, adept at motivating a team to achieve targets.
  • Commercially minded and comfortable negotiating with senior stakeholders.
  • Creative problemsolving skills and proactive nature.
  • Processdriven and loves creating and implementing standardised processes, including documentation and training.
  • Ability to work and stay calm under pressure.
  • Understanding of payroll, HR and related services ideal but not required.
