This year saw the retirement of our Occupational Health Consultant - the department now looks to recruit a new Lead that can ensure the health and wellbeing of our people.
Supported by; OH Service Manager, Lead Nurse, three Occupational Physicians/Psychiatrist and forty plus departmental colleagues you will encourage, promote and deliver against the OH strategy, whilst ensuring physical and psychologically safe working environments for all.
Main duties of the job
It takes an exceptional leader to engage and inspire staff to ensure that the very best practices are introduced and implemented.
Your extensive experience in complex Occupational health cases, along with your clinical skills and understanding of Clinical Governance and Quality will support you greatly in your role of OH Consultant.
As Department Lead, you will be a beacon for our next generation of Doctors looking to qualify in OH.You will be approachable, responsive and encouraging of colleagues who seek your counsel and act as required as a mentor to ensure succession planning.
As you join UHB, you will receive a full induction to the Trust - this will include a 100 day plan of; site tours, colleague and stakeholder introductions and extensive 1:1 support from the Chief People Officer, Associate Director and Medical Director.
For this post we are able to full time hours (10 PAs).
We are happy to discuss alternative working hours and support a wide range of flexible working options that best supports you - including hybrid and compressed hours.
In addition, you can expect a salary of up to 119,000 based on experience along with a benefits package to include annual leave and NHS pension.
