Procurement Administrator - 6 month contract chance to go perm - must be based in Cambridge

WE ARE ADVERTISING THE POSITION AGAIN AS THE LAST CONTRACTOR DID GO PERMANENT AFTER 6 MONTHS


Having shaped a large part of societies survival with some crucial vaccine development contributions, our client is growing from strength to strength and has done so for well over 5 years now.

Continued growth is driven by a demand for their technology andproducts, particularly around unmet medical needs. Now, they seek an Administrative Coordinator with procurement involvement.


Responsibilities:

The position, will involve working with POs - purchase requisitions and resolving purchase order issues.

Contact suppliers to ensure smooth communication and flow of material is maintained and to resolve price, quality, delivery, or invoice issues (procurement)

Work with Sr. Procurement Specialists to identify gaps and delays in the delivery of products/services

Supporting in the new suppliers onboarding process and Data Steward activities

Reporting and maintaining compliance against procurement policy


Requirements:


  • Strong Administrative background ideally in a procurement setting.
  • Demonstrable experience of indirect procurement preferred (not essential)
  • Knowledge of procurement appreciated
