Salary:
Grade 8, £61,356.00 to £68,364.00 per annum including London Weighting

The Royal Central School of Speech & Drama (Central, or the School) is a leading drama and theatre arts university located in Swiss Cottage.

We are a thriving hub of award -winning research, arts practitioners and teachers and, transformative civic engagement, creating some of the most important arts training in the UK.

It is a dynamic community with a student body of c650 undergraduate and c370 postgraduate students.


This is an exciting opportunity to join the department of Engagement & Enterprise, driving income generation for the School and for engaging audiences through traditional and digital landscapes.

You will lead on a portfolio of income-generating activities, including individual giving, corporate sponsorship, events, trusts and foundations and collaborative partnerships.

You will be responsible for leading the cultivation of new relationships with external stakeholders especially in growing relationships with high-net-worth individuals and corporations and, for managing the fundraising team.


The role would suit an experienced fundraiser, capable of creating impactful opportunities and building meaningful relationships with and beyond the School including experience of managing individuals and teams focused on fundraising.

You should also bring a depth of knowledge of the requirements of the fundraising regulator and best practice in the sector.
