About the role
We're seeking an

Independent End Point Assessor within Social Care to join our End Point Assessment Team. This will see you working as part of a dedicated, flexible team, where you can use your professional skills and knowledge whilst developing others. Added to this, you will be working at the forefront of End Point Assessment, as NCFE work with Independent Training Providers, Further Education Colleges and Employment Providers to drive valuable partnerships across the developing world of Apprenticeships and EPA.


As an IEPA, you'll play an integral part in the success of apprentices by supporting them in taking the assessments for their apprenticeship and grading their assessment(s).

Our Social Care team is made up of two teams (Adult Care & Children/Young People). We are currently recruiting for an IEPA to support the Children and young people's team.


Our team currently manage the standards below:


  • Children, Young People and Families Practitioner:

Children, Young People and Families Manager

Some of your responsibilities will include:


  • Delivering EPA in line with the standard(s) for Young People and Families Practitioner and Young People and Families Manager:
  • Utilising NCFE Apprenticeship Services EPA platform to record EPAs and interact with apprentices
  • Attending standardisation events to ensure quality, compliance and consistency
  • Communicating with apprentices, ITP's and employers on EPA and grading

We would love to hear from you if you have the following skills and experience:


  • Carry at least 2 years' occupational competency within Children, Young People and Family Sector:

Qualified to at least level 4 in the Children, Young People and Family sector:


  • Are a qualified Assessor:
  • Experience of producing clear, accurate and concise written reports
