Customer Account Coordinator - Permanent, Tamworth


EMBS Engineering are looking for a Customer Account Coordinator to work for a market-leading precision engineering company that specialise in the manufacture of low volume, high variant parts, supplying into high profile industry markets.

As a Customer Account Coordinator you will play an integral part of the business to ensure customer satisfaction.

You will be required to build strong working relationships with customers, suppliers and various stakeholders to ensure expectations are managed.

The role will require you to deal with telephone enquiries, quotations, sales orders and technical requests.

Experience and skills required for the role includes;

  • Engineering or manufacturing background
  • Confidence liaising with suppliers, engineers, freight forwarders as well as other external stakeholders
  • Ability to project manage new sales enquiries
  • Worked in a role thats requires communication between departments to establish delivery dates and monitor/chase progress of customer orders
  • Demonstrated experience of providing advice to customers and resolving issues relating to delivery issues
  • Technically minded, able to learn the products and their requirements
  • Able to use in house systems to process sales orders
  • Worked towards targets deadlines and ensures action is taken to meet customer demands
  • Apatable to dealing with change and challenges
  • Confident generating reports for senior management
  • Excellent time management skills and organisational skills
