An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our team of pupil support assistants at Kinross High School on a part time basis.

Applicants wishing to be considered for part of the hours available will also be considered.


We are seeking a compassionate, responsible, resilient and ambitious practitioner who has experience of working with young people who have varying identified needs.


You will support pupils in S1 to 6 to achieve their learning goals and will be working in a variety of settings such as the classroom, in small groups or on a one-to-one basis.

We are looking for a highly motivated person, committed to supporting children with identified needs.


It is essential that you have effective literacy, IT and numeracy skills; previous experience with working with children; are flexible; can contribute effectively within a team and would be willing to undertake further training relevant to your role.


You must have the ability to demonstrate sensitivity and patience within this role and have an appreciation of the range of additional needs that pupils may have.

A nurturing approach and positive mindset is a must
