Data and Exams Officer | Redbridge


We are seeking to appoint a detail-oriented and highly operational individual to join a successful and hardworking team in this high-profile role of Data and Exams Officer based at a Secondary school in Redbridge.

This is an exciting opportunity, allowing you to be at the heart of supporting the students to create better futures.


Data and Exams Officer Summary:


  • Be responsible for the oversight and management of SIMS and academy exams and data systems to provide technical direction, advice and leadership for datarelated services, ensuring longerterm strategic academy goals are met.
  • Liaise with heads of department, the senior leadership team (SLT) and other appropriate staff regarding the examination entries, assessment procedures and protocols, and ensuring the smooth running of the examination cycle at all key stages.
  • Organise and coordinate the external and internal examinations.
  • Recruit, train, update and manage a team of invigilators.
  • Manage the examinations budget.
  • Act as a main point of contact for the centre in matters relating to the general administration of awarding body examinations and assessments.

Data and Exams Officer Requirements:


  • Possess a track record of effectively communicating with students, faculty, and external collaborators.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in mathematical and statistical concepts, coupled with expertise in data security.
  • Possess a thorough comprehension of exam protocols, paper storage guidelines, and inspection procedures in accordance with rules and regulations.
  • Showcase exceptional administrative and organizational abilities.
  • Exhibit a strong passion for working in an educational setting and engaging with young individuals.
