About The Department

The Careers Service is the area of the institution responsible for working with students and colleagues across Goldsmiths to deliver the Institutional Employability Strategy.

Through the effective delivery of a range of frontline services, it is critical to providing an enhanced student experience before, during and after their time at Goldsmiths.

As such, it contributes to the achievement of the Vision, Mission and Strategic Plan for Goldsmiths.

About The Role
This is an exciting time to join the Employer Engagement and Work Experience Team within the Goldsmiths Careers Service.

The service has recently reviewed its provision and mode of delivery and are ready to launch an engaging range of activities to enhance students and recent graduate's careers and employability knowledge and skills.

Additionally, as we have transitioned out of COVID-19 restrictions, employers and students are keen to reconnect in-person on campus.

The EE&WE Team play a vital role in bridging the gap between students and employers by providing various work experience opportunities and hosting networking events.

This position will coordinate student work experience as part of accredited placement modules across the institution, support a variety of in-house and externally funded internship schemes, whilst working with small and large businesses to create opportunities for undergraduate and postgraduate students and graduates.

This role is key to the continued growth of our work experience provision across Goldsmiths.

If you have a genuine interest in careers and employability and are able to demonstrate excellent organisation, problem solving and team working skills, this is the ideal role for you.
