Aftersales Managerto join our Commercial Vehicle teamin
Poole, however flexibility is required depending on business needs across our other dealerships.
You will join us on a
full-time permanent basis, and in return, you will receive a
competitive salary plus benefits.
Responsibilities as our Aftersales Manager:
- Carry out regular reviews of pricing policies, labour rates, discounts and parts pricing
- Monitor workshop productivity and the effective use of labour
- Examine management accounts and composite figures
- Ensure all stocks and services purchased for resale are monitored and sold at a profit
- Maintain stock levels, monitor the parts inventory and anticipate future parts needs
- Measure true stock turn and keep obsolete stock to a minimum
- Handle dissatisfied customers calmly, resolve complaints with sensitivity, and involve others when needed
- Ensure the aftersales department is adequately staffed in order to achieve departmental objectives and provide a prompt and efficient service to customers
- Ensure staff maintain uptodate knowledge, improve technical skills and achieve a high level of workmanship
- Always operate within the law, ensuring all health and safety legislation and internal procedures are followed
- Ensure the correct recycling of all disposed and damaged items in line with environmental regulations
What we are looking for in our Aftersales Manager:
- Main dealer experience or experience of such
- Full clean Driving Licence
- Personable approach, with a polite and courteous manner
- Selfmotivated
- Computer literate
- A strong communicator and able to lead by example
- Possess exceptional leadership skills
- Able to adhere to tight deadlines being made
- Able to manage and motivate the team to deliver high performance
