Procurement Officer - 12 month FTC

Part Time (20 Hours/PW)

Hybrid Working/Dundee**Develop and enhance your Procurement career with this exciting opportunity to join a highly reputable global manufacturer


Escape are looking to recruit a Procurement Officer to provide operational and day-to-day procurement support for a 12-month period at our client's Dundee manufacturing site.


Key responsibilities:


  • Participating in the development and execution of category strategies
  • Managing supply chain risk
  • Resolving supplier issues and monitoring supplier performance
  • Supporting new product launches
  • Coordinating purchasing activities and procuring materials
  • Sourcing new suppliers outside of strategic categories when required
  • Contribute to regional and global projects when necessary
  • Drive cost reduction and continuous improvement initiatives

Key skills:


  • Previous procurement experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong supplier relationship management skills
  • Confident and willingness to learn
  • Excellent communicator across stakeholders
