Description
Production Engineer £30k to £35k per annum.

  • To work on existing and new product implementation into production
  • Identifying efficient costeffective routes to manufacture defining methods and machinery required
  • Capture current and amended manufacturing processes using suitable media
  • Review existing Product Master Files and BOMS and identify/ correct errors as required
  • Assist and play a key role in the redesign of the manufacturing layout
  • Lead process improvements
  • Design tooling / jigs for continuous improvements and new product implementation
  • Experienced Production Engineer ideally from an agile têxtiles manufacturing (desirable)
  • Ability to design and implement manufacturing layouts and processes


  • Computer literate

  • Microsoft and AutoCAD
  • Understanding of design and production costs including waste, downtime scrap and rework
  • Experience of 5 S
  • Excellent communications skills both written and verbal
