Hand-finished in our London workshop and installed with the utmost attention to detail, London Door Company has a solid reputation for delivering the high standards that discerning clients demand.

We are looking for a Painter to join our Factory team based in Sutton, on a full-time permanent basis to ensure our high-quality luxury doors and frames and finished to the highest standard.

Main aspects of the role include:

Clean and prepare door surfaces by sanding, filling, and priming as needed.
Select appropriate paints, coatings, or finishes based on job requirements.
Ensure proper coverage and finish quality, making any necessary adjustments.
Inspect finished doors for flaws, such as drips, streaks, or uneven coating.
Make touchups or corrections as needed to meet quality standards.
Verify that colours and finishes match specifications.
Maintain and clean painting equipment regularly to ensure functionality.
Report any equipment malfunctions or repair needs promptly.
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines when handling paints, solvents, and other chemicals.
Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
Keep work area clean and organised.
Complete production reports and documentation accurately.

Additional information:

A keen eye to detail is essential;
Experience working with timber in a painting and finishing capacity is advantageous.
