Description

The purpose of the role is to assist the Marketing Manager with the implementation of all aspects of daily marketing activity for St James / St William West London.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working in conjunction with the Marketing Manager and liaising closely with site sales teams and various agencies and suppliers, to deliver a variety of marketing materials.


  • Marketing Reports

  • Compiling monthly marketing data to assist Marketing manager with monthly report for marketing activity


  • Property Portals

  • Update all online property portals with new plots, as per pricelist and include fresh imagery and descriptions


  • Website

  • Update website via ICM. Collate results and web trends for marketing manager report. Update pricing and plot details


  • Digital

  • Update and monitor all digital works including SEO, Paid search and PPC and Google Analytics based on information agreed with Marketing Manager


  • BG Implementations

  • Coordinate implementation of new microsites, together with Berkeley Website Support team


  • Stock Check

  • Marketing Suite and International offices marketing collateral. Ensure relevant materials and enough stock in place.


  • Meeting Minutes

  • Attend all marketing meetings with Marketing Manager and produce notes, save on file and distribute when required


  • Marketing collateral orders

  • Umbrellas / St James bags/ name badge obtain quotations for sign off and place order
  • Price lists design and upload
  • Design for pricelists international and UK and upload on BG portal


  • Creative agent artwork

  • Liaise with creative agencies regarding amends, copy deadlines, print, delivery etc.
  • Proof reading / sign off
  • Assist with approval of print proofs and organise internal approvals


  • Producing Marketing Collateral

  • Assisting in the delivery of marketing tools to assist the sales process including; development models, CGI imagery, interactive apartment finders and promotional videos
  • Logistics for international Events and schedules
  • Organise overseas brochure shipping for all events to BG offices and exhibition rooms. Model logistics for the shipping of them to each event set up and removal. Exhibition room design and set up. Provide detailed plan for all events on the logistics and liaise with the offices, agents, International Manager and SD.


  • Launches / events

  • Arrange catering, set up and work rotas for events


  • Storage management

  • Managing overseas model storage and UK showhome storage oversee the storage facilities and inventory of items sorted. Often visit storage whenever we have a brochure request.


  • PO

  • Assist with obtaining quotations for work / jobs required. Collate and produce recommendation of for signoff by Director.
  • Visual bank and sharefile
  • Assist in image library uploading and managing the sharefile folder for agents and internal use.


  • International Calendar

  • Booking events within the calendar
  • Press release & PR
  • Proof read and collate comments for development specific press releases and other PR material. Compile potential PR leads and storylines for consideration by the PR Agency
  • Monitor branding internal and external branding checks


  • Marketing timelines

  • All marketing timelines to be updated and checked. Reporting / tracking for Sales Director.


  • Interactive update

  • UK and overseas offices to have availability updated.


  • Newsletters

  • Collate information for the newsletter


  • Signage

  • Liaise with signage contractors, assisting in briefing and overseeing installation

  • Ensure all necessary documentation i.e. RAMS are received and approved by the appropriate Directors

  • Ensure current signage is maintained and updated as required


  • Marketing Suite Checks

  • Action marketing issues on the daily list


  • Corporate Events

  • Assist with organising of St James / St William events


  • Community Plan

  • Key part of the Community Plan working group, meet regularly, action tasks set by group, organise events and any collateral required.


  • Flagship Development

  • Organise any requirements for "high profile" meetings and coordinate with build teams/sales teams to ensure smooth running
Technical Competencies

  • Experience working in a similar role, preferably for a property developer or within the property industry
  • Marketing degree desired
  • Proficient in using design software (Photoshop, InDesign etc)
  • Intermediate to advanced MS office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with working with Microsoft dynamics C360
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Highly organised and processdriven
  • Excellent attention to detail, including the ability to effectively review and proof read all marketing material
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Berkeley Group standard working hours are 8:00am until 5.00pm Monday to Friday, though we operate a flexible working policy so working hours can be adjusted to suit individual needs.
