The Non-Functional Test Lead under the Software Quality Improvement team will be a crucial part of the Software Quality Improvement function.

About the role


Recommend and implement non-functional automation testing standards and testing best practice across the Group, and ensure Best Practice is being adhered to on projects until final resolution (i.e., adequate response time, memory leaks checks, throughput analysis).

Provide training and consultancy, where needed, on non-functional Test Automation Best Practise to teams within all RLG portfolios, building trusting relationships and a shared understanding of what Performance Testing means to RLG.

Collaborates with the squads and functional teams to ensure Performance guidelines and best practice are followed through to production.
Ensures that all test phases are considered and supported, where needed, from a performance point of view.

About you

Working knowledge of the Waterfall, Agile and Hybrid software development life cycles.
Has deep knowledge of performance test at API, GUI, Database, Services and ETL levels.

Working knowledge of some of these tools and scripting languages: Performance Centre, Silk, JMeter, SoapUI / Postman, Selenium Webdriver, JavaScript, VBScript, ShellScript.

Experience of reviewing and choosing performance test methods and tools.
Evangelistic and Collaborative attitude to Testing and Quality.
