IntaPeople is looking for a Quality Manager to join an exciting and engaging Technical & Quality team. Our client is a leader within the cable assembly industry specialists within their field.

Duties & Responsibilities

Lead the Quality team to ensure that team members are fully trained and equipped to achieve the team's objectives.
Driving and implementing a culture of continuous improvement throughout the business
Taking responsibility for Quality audits and ensuring that company processes are in line with relevant standards and regulations.
Engaging with customers and suppliers to understand customer concepts and requirements and lead the Quality team to ensure that these requirements are adhered to throughout production.
Contributing to the efficient journey of NDP projects from initial development, throughout production, and introduction to customers
Supporting with capability assessments on equipment and processes.
Ensuring adherence to safety, legal, and customer specific requirements throughout the entire process, from design to launch.
Contributing to a culture of defect prevention and waste elimination.
Implementing and supporting processes to ensure that corrective action is applied consistently throughout the business and across all products, ensuring that quality issues are not repeated in any other product or process.
Working with the Quality and Technical team, to support systems improving interdepartmental communications around quality issues, ensuring that concerns and corrective action are communicated appropriately throughout the business.
Driving a culture of Continuous Improvement throughout the business.

Skills & Experience

Qualified in relevant engineering/quality discipline.
Experience of working with PPAP, IPC, ISO 9001, Six Sigma.
Proven experience in a Quality role within a manufacturing environment.
A background in quality processes within a cable assembly manufacturing environment.
Proven experience of participating in and/or leading product and process audits,
Strong leadership skills, being able to influence internal teams.
Experience in customer relationship management, able to engage with high value customers and build strong business relationships.
