Full Job Description

Department:
Wills, Trusts & Lpa's and Probate

Location:
Acle and Dereham for training


Education & Professional Qualifications required:
This role would suit a Paralegal, member of the Institute of Professional Will writers (IPW) / equivalent
or an experienced Administrator who wants to work towards qualification / membership, with experience of Will writing. With a risse to £13 per hour once qualified.


Personal Skills:
Good team player, flexible, self-sufficient and self-supporting (other than admin assistance with
file openings etc), good IT literacy, ability to work with state of the art will drafting software, ability
to deal with clients from a broad demographic from the more modest to the high net worth, an
ability to deal with older clients, adaptable and motivated and content to work in a busy fast
- moving environment.

The Will writer will be supervised and given all necessary support but must be happy to work on
their own initiative and independently with a balance of working mainly in our Acle office office and occasionally in Dereham

An awareness of the opportunities to cross refer work within the department itself (between Pre
and Post-Death Teams) and also to other departments within the firm.


Personal Qualities of Special Importance:
An ability to work calmly and methodically under pressure during particularly busy periods.


Outline of role and responsibilities:
Preparation of basic to the more complex Wills involving trusts, and Lasting Power of Attorneys

Working hours are 10am till 2pm Monday to Friday
