Finance Manager - Middlewich, United Kingdom - Accountancy Recruit
Description
The Finance Manager will have the following responsibilities:
- Drive the continuous improvement of end-to-end accounting practices.
- Prepare and post monthly accruals, prepayments and similar accounting entries.
- Lead the analysis of monthly and quarterly numbers and present findings to the board.
- Manage endtoend audit process of current systems while acting as the first point of contact for external auditors.
- Continually identify risks to delivery, propose solutions where necessary and effectively manage stakeholder expectations throughout.
- Manage the AP ledger.
- Manage the Credit Control function, including processing debit notes and associated returns.
- Work alongside the Logistics & Operations Controller to provide cover and support when required.
- Support the FD and deputise when required.
- Part qualified/fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Strong technical accounting knowledge.
- Advanced Excel and modelling experience.
- Production of statutory accounts.
- Ability to delegate and also oversee and manage team members.
- Experience of AP and AR.
- Experience running annual audit.
- Detailed knowledge of SAGE 200 would be beneficial.
