Are you an experienced travel industry professional looking for an exciting new role in the travel industry? Are you looking for a role which requires you to travel overseas regularly? A Birmingham based Tour Operator is looking for a Tour Leader Co-ordinatorfor work from their Birmingham office once or twice a week, and from home.

The role will involve building and managing relationships with existing tours leaders in addition to successfully recruiting new tour leaders to join our team of fantastic individualswho host our Solos holidays; and to oversee the smooth-running of the operation with specific responsibility for assigning tours, providing an exemplary pre and post-trip service to the tour leaders and maintaining professional working relationships with themand other members of the team.


They are looking for someone who is very social and has limited commitments so can travel when needed, they will offer up to 30k salary.


JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • To manage the trip allocations for all Tour Leaders
  • To support existing Tour Leaders, in addition to;
  • Actively recruit new Tour Leaders to the business
  • Provide ongoing training support to all Tour Leaders
  • Monitor performance and nurture the talented to support growth
  • Regular travel (both overseas & UK) will be required to monitor the performance of the Tour Leaders
  • Feeding back and liaising with both the Operations and Product team on improvements, and future tour initiatives
  • Assist with any travel arrangements
  • Approve all trip expenses
  • Play a role in building our client's brand awareness

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Travel industry experience essential
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills High level of professionalism
  • Able to work independently
  • Must be available to work outside of normal office hours on a rostered basis
  • Strong problemsolving capabilities
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills
  • An ability to work effectively under pressure
  • Strong command of English in written and spoken forms
  • A high level of numeracy

PACAKAGE:
Competitive basic salary of 26k - 30k,

Hybrid working (1-2 days office in Birmingham city centre, 3-4 from home)
