Full time starting salary is normally in the range £25,866 to £27,518, with potential progression once in post to £30,820

Grade: 4

Full Time, Fixed Term contract up to June 2025

Two post available

This role is also open as an internal secondment opportunity which would need to be agreed by your current line manager.

UK and Global travel may be required as part of this role

Background


BactiVac, the Bacterial Vaccines Network is a global vaccinology network that brings together members based in academic, industry and policy sectors to accelerate the development of vaccines against bacterial infections relevant to low and middle-income countries (LMICs).

Since its establishment in August 2017, the Network has grown to over 1,700 members based across 86 countries, with 49% of our members based in LMICs.

The BactiVac Network fosters partnership by providing catalyst project funding and training support.

The Network also hosts Annual Network Meetings that bring our global membership together, allowing the exchange of ideas and supporting the generation of new collaborative partnerships across the Network.


Operational management and delivery of Network activity is devolved to the BactiVac Administrative team, which consists of the Network Operations Manager, Deputy Operations Manager, Senior Administration Coordinator, Senior Administrator, External Engagement Coordinator, Marketing & Communications Coordinator, Media Production & Communications Assistant and the 2 Network Administrators.


Role Summary


We are looking to recruit 2 experienced Network Administrators who will be responsible for providing strong and effective administrative support across a range of Network activities.

The postholders will support the administration of the Network's systems and processes which underpin key Network activities.

These include the project data entry of funding calls relating to research projects and training opportunities, administrative tasks relating to the delivery of Network events, and ensuring the BactiVac website and social media channels are up to date.


In all areas of activity, the post holders will be required to provide outstanding customer service and support and be confident in dealing with a variety of stakeholders at all levels within a range of organisations.
