An exciting opportunity has arisen for an XP Fitter to join the Group Engineering team of the world class manufacturer of earthmoving equipment.

Overview of the role:

Your main duties as an XP Fitter:

Supporting the design and development of current and future products
Building prototypes and test rigs
Preparing machines for test and evaluation work
Strip down of machines, components and rigs, inspection and rebuild
Servicing, diagnostics and repair of validation machines on/off site
Welding / fabrication skills would be an advantage
Reading and understanding engineering drawings

About you:

Proven industry experience working within the offhighway machinery service sector
Good working knowledge of drivetrain, hydraulics and electrical/electronic systems
Relevant technical qualifications or equivalent experience
Enthusiastic attitude, coupled with a sense of urgency and desire to succeed
Good teamwork & communication skills
