Description
My client in the Leeds aea are looking for time served Bench Joiners.

The company specialize in high-end commercial interiors and have been trading successfully since the mid 80s.

Duties of the role

Reading drawings
Assembly / Disassembly of the Products
Creating cuttings lists based on drawings issues by the design team
Operating machinery such as - CNC router, Edgebander, Saw, planer-thicknesser, spindle-moulder and other hand tools as required
Production of bespoke joinery items on the bench
Solid surface fabrication
Use of spray shop for finishing if required (preferred)


Skills:

Previous bench hand joinery experience is essential, and you will need to be able to work off drawings.
Qualified Time Served Bench Hand
General familiarity with woodworking machinery
Experience working to a high standard, being able to laminate and fabricate in Corian type materials, achieving good finishes
