Garden Maintenance Supervisor
Sands End, Greater London

£38,000 - £42,000 - DOE


Information on the role

  • Conduct site inspections, ensuring quality, safety, & time standards are kept
  • Proactively manage the maintenance teams, reports & communication
  • Supervise & execute general garden maintenance i.e., mowing, pruning, mulching, irrigation, & preplanting area preparations
  • Ensure proper care & maintenance of equipment
  • Cover & support teams during annual leave & or sick leave as required
  • Ensure all team leaders are adequately equipped
  • Schedule & conduct team meetings
  • Enforce Health & Safety procedures
  • Attend & report in fortnightly management meetings
  • Resource & Schedule adjustments
  • Ensure lockups are kept tidy, safe, & well stocked
  • Plan, price, & supervise small landscape improvement projects

What we'd like from you

  • Experience in highend residential Garden Maintenance/Soft Landscaping & a Management/Team Leader role.
  • Knowledge of garden maintenance operations, horticulture (planting, pruning, fertilising, etc.)
  • Basic First aid or Greater
  • Desirable: RHS Level 2 or equivalent
  • Desirable: PA1 & PA6 Spraying certificates
  • Desirable: Horticulture qualification or certificate
  • Driving license
  • Ability to work in all sorts of weather conditions
  • Physically able as the job is very physically demanding
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
