Pay for this role will range between £100 - £130 per day.,

As a Supply Teacher, the applicant will be responsible for:

  • Delivering pre set lesson plans, ensuring that pupils behave respectfully and keep on task at all times.
  • Maintain attendance records, and work in partnership with support staff (including Teaching Assistants/Learning Support Assistants.
  • Communicating relevant learning outcomes to students, ensuring that learners have a clear idea of what is expected of them.
  • Answering any questions that students may have, and dealing with any pastoral issues should they arise.
  • Ensuring that a positive learning atmosphere is maintained at all times.
  • Providing feedback on lesson performance to the HR team when requested.
The school is located in the New Mills area, and is a very well regarded school locally. It benefits from being set in beautiful surroundings and is a much smaller than average school.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
