Based in Bury, Greater Manchester UK, the company specialises in a range of products for the processing and cutting of paper, plastic and/or composite tubes (Cores).

The Role:

Employed as a Production Assistant you will be working alongside experienced engineers in a manufacturing production environment. You will report to the Lead Engineerand provide assistance to our engineers on a daily basis.

You will be required to carry out the following daily tasks:


Tasks:

• General upkeep of the production site.
• Local driving duties.
• Pick and pack goods for despatch.
• Load/Unload delivery vehicles.
• Assistance to engineers in machine assembly.
• Assistance in production as and when required.
• General administrative duties.

Key Skills:

• Able to work quickly and efficiently with minimum supervision.
• Good written and verbal communication skills (English)
• IT literate with a basic understanding Microsoft Office.
• Basic engineering skills would be advantageous.
• FLT license desirable but not essential as training can be given.

The Person:

• Eligible to work in the UK with full UK driving license.

Working hours:

Mon-Thurs.

Friday

Overtime may be required from time to time, this will be reflected in the overall package.
