The Company

Our client is now 1 year into their 7-year contract for the maintenance and improvement of the Defence Built Estate in the South East and have supported the defence sector for over 70 years in delivering maintenance and repair, project management, and refurbishmentservices to both operational and support facilities.

From large scale re-developments, through to minor refurbishments, their expert teams collaborate with key stakeholders to streamline designs and value engineer project briefs.


The role

You will work with and support a team of Project Managers, whilst they complete a wide and varied array of Billable works projects.

Provide administrative support for the effective, compliant and timely delivery of departmental duties in accordance with Government Regulatory and Statutory undertakings, complying with all Health & Safety and Environmental standards and policies.

Use clear communication to deliver technical solutions to customer and client and reflect the company values.
The role will report into a Senior Project Manager and be part of the wider site team.
Key accountability's

  • Provide administrative support for the effective, compliant and timely delivery of departmental duties in accordance with Government Regulatory and Statutory undertakings, complying with all Health & Safety and Environmental standards and policies.

  • Answer all incoming telephone calls promptly and professionally.
  • Preparation and maintenance of reports as required by management utilising MS Excel, Maximo or other bespoke IT systems to monitor business performance.
  • Support management in formal meetings including booking suitable facilities, confirming site access for nonpass holders, recording attendance and producing accurate minutes and action logs
  • Support the ongoing completion of Quality Assurance, Health & Safety, Security & Fraud and Sustainability processes and initiatives.
  • Support management in providing accurate data to allow optimal solutions to customer requirements and to resolve end user issues.
  • Support the team to ensure that all works are delivered efficiently and economically in order to promote a profitable business.

Could this be for you?

You will have significant practical experience in administration including a good understanding of administration requirements in a busy, fast paced environment, data processing and management and prioritising tasks to meet tight deadlines.

Ideally NVQ level 2 qualification in Administration, a related discipline or equivalent experience
