The
Technical Support Lead is responsible for coordination, management and completion of development and installation projects the company has with its customers.

This will involve discussion with the customer directly, as well as understanding the internal progress made from the assigned resources.

The Technical Support Lead will also be the main point of contact for customers and provide technical support with the installation and set-up of the product.


Requirements:


You will make an impact by:

  • Coordinating and managing internal resources assigned to customer projects to ensure that project timelines and associated milestones are achieved
  • Providing an overview of project resourcing, operating budget and feedback on project feasibility
  • Leading engagement with the customer opposite (i.e_._ project lead) and communicating progress
  • Understanding the technical requirements of the project and developing a project plan, resourcing and budget together with Engineering team
  • Ensuring any regulatory compliance that is relevant to the customer project/industry
  • Working closely with subcontractors assigned to projects and managing their output inline with the inhouse Engineering work
  • Managing logistics off shipping all product to customers (including customs)
  • Monitoring and tracking all Purchasing Orders and invoicing to achieve monthly revenue
  • Managing the return merchandise authorisation process
  • Coordinating with supply chain partners

You'll thrive if you have:


Essential

  • Bachelor/Master of Science in (Electrical) Engineering
  • Demonstrable ability to understand customer requirements and markets as well as business development objectives
  • Proven track record in the creation and delivery of project plans and timely achievement of project tasks and milestones within budget
  • The ability to work and communicate effectively with both commercial and technical employees
  • A selfstarter with analytical, problem solving and strategic thinking skills

Desirable

  • Project Management Professional / PRINCE II certification
  • Hardware design and test experience
