We are looking for a highly organised and motivated individual to join our team in Manchester as a Transport Administrator.
As the Transport Administrator you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient coordination of transportation activities, including the movement of machinery and equipment to and from various sites.
Maintain accurate records of transportation activities, including delivery schedules, vehicle maintenance logs, and driver logs, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.
Ensure compliance with transportation laws and regulations, including safety standards, weight limits, and licensing requirements, to uphold the company's commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with excellent attention to detail.
Knowledge of transportation regulations and best practices is desirable.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment to run the department efficiently.
