Are you someone with a background in construction and property maintenance? Would you like to be supported to achieve formal surveying qualifications, or are you a newly qualified surveyor and would like support to kick start your career?

We have an exciting opportunity for a Larger Repairs Inspector to join us to identify and diagnose larger repairs, determining and facilitating the appropriate technical solutions and supervising the work through to a satisfactory completion for our customers.

Day to day, you will provide surveying services to the Trust to ensure larger repairs, adaptation of its housing stock and damp and mould repairs are carried out to set standards in accordance with the organisation's aims and objectives.

You will oversee works from inspection, management of contractors and through to sign off.

The role also has the opportunity for career growth, if this is something you would like to achieve, and we would support the undertaking of formal qualifications alongside mentoring and coaching.

Upon completion of an agreed development plan there is the opportunity for progression to becoming a Building Surveyor with bdht.

About You
We are looking for a customer focussed individual with experience within the construction industry, preferably from a recognised trade background

An excellent communicator, you will ensure that customer satisfaction is regarded as your highest priority.

You will also need to be proficient in the use of basic IT systems along with the ability to use handheld technology to record client management information.

A current valid driving licence and access to an appropriately insured vehicle is essential.
