KM4Talent are currently partnering with a global organisation to recruit a Health & Safety Manager.

The role will ensure that the organisation meets the necessary legislative obligations and drive the continuous improvement of health and safety throughout the business.

Responsibilities

To proactively work with Managers and other key staff to establish and maintain a programme of continuous improvement in the management of Health and Safety within their areas of responsibility, which includes conducting regular audits.
Coach and guide all employees on correct H&S procedure, and legislation.
Liaise with the Director of HR on a regular basis to keep them informed of matters arising and provide guidance and advice on Health & Safety matters to managers and staff across all sites
Monitor and implement changes in Health and Safety law as appropriate
Develop or update Health and Safety policies and procedures in line with changes in legislation to promote safe working practices
To advise/train managers and staff of changes
Identify Health & Safety training requirements for staff with managers and organise requisite courses in conjunction with HR
Design and deliver in house training sessions on key areas in relation to Health and Safety and support the delivery of other training programmes, including new staff inductions and management training.
