Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive art lessons for secondary students.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.
  • Integrate technology and contemporary art practices into the curriculum to enhance learning experiences.
  • Assess and provide constructive feedback on students' artistic work, ensuring their continuous growth and development.
  • Organize and participate in artrelated extracurricular activities, such as art clubs, exhibitions, and competitions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Art Education or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Valid teaching certification for secondary education.
  • Proven experience teaching art at the secondary level.
  • Strong knowledge of art history, various art forms, and contemporary art practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Technologically proficient with a willingness to integrate technology into the curriculum.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
