The Opportunity
The Consulting Service Delivery team is one of EY's fastest growth areas. We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Conduct Risk specialist to join our Newcastle team.

The role will be based in our Newcastle office, in our Consulting Delivery Centre. We support flexible/hybrid working but there will be a requirement for you to spend time in the Newcastle office on a weekly basis, so we are looking for people who are commutable to Newcastle or are looking to relocate to the North

  • East.

Your Key Responsibilities


As a Conduct Risk Executive in our Consulting Service Delivery team, you will be working with global EY teams to deliver high quality work to our clients, who will primarily be from the financial sector.

You will help our clients gain comfort by using your technical knowledge of compliance matters. You will work with the leadership team to speak directly with clients to provide them with advice and recommendations. You will be supporting management to lead teams working on Conduct Risk engagements.

  • Demonstrated integrity within a professional environment

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Relevant regulatory experience relating to financial services regulation compliance and/or enforcement. This may be from working with a regulator, a financial services organisation, or a dynamic new market entrant
  • Knowledge of jurisdictional key regulations/handbooks
  • Direct experience of Financial Services, either in a tier one consulting organisation or large financial services organisation
  • Leadership, project management and teamwork skills

Ideally, you'll also have

  • Experience of coaching or mentoring junior team members
  • Obtained or be working towards A relevant professional qualification (e.g., Chartered Insurance Institute DipPFS (R01-R06); LIBF; DipPFA or CISI equivalent, CEMAP, Certificate in Mortgage Advice)
