Job IntroductionWe're looking for someone with strong ICT and communication skills to join our Performance and Systems team as a Systems Officer.

This is a busy and varied role, providing helpdesk support for social care, so excellent customer service skills are essential.

Ideally, you'll have experience in helpdesk support, customer service, or administration in adult or children's social care.

Knowledge of personal data information or finance systems (our systems include Liquidlogic Children's Social Care, Early Help Module and ContrOCC) is desirable but not essential, as you will be provided with thorough training.

An enhanced DBS check will be required.
Role Responsibilities

  • The Systems Officer will ensure relevant Social Care systems are maintained and available as per business requirements, supporting the Systems Manager where required
  • You will support ICT developments affecting Adults and Children's Social Care
  • You will support developments and improvements on the relevant Social Care systems and to help align with MKC's ICT Strategy as required
  • We're looking for committed and resilient individuals, with strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • You'll have knowledge of personal data information / finance systems ideally with good understanding of Local Authority Information Systems
  • You should be able to prioritise your own workload to meet deadlines
  • You should have the ability to work with service staff to identify system needs and suggest solutions to meet service delivery needs

Salary:
£24,496.00-£26,845.00 per year
