Manufacturing Supervisor

Gateshead

Salary:
£30K per annum

Job Type:
Full-time, Permanent

Work schedule:
Day shift (37.5 hours)

Monday to Thursday, 8:00 am to 6:00 pm

URGENTLY NEEDED
To perform the duties of a Manufacturing Supervisor. Working within a manufacturing company, who supply to the Automotive and Commercial Goods industries. All aspects of Metal Pressings, Machining and Assembly.

Duties and Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Manufacturing Manager
Supervise the production teams, including Press Shop and Welding Bay, to ensure a high level of performance and quality.
Organize workflow, planning and organizing production schedules to ensure products are manufactured efficiently and on time.
Monitor production performance and implement corrective actions necessary to meet production targets.
Ensure safety regulations are adhered to and promote a safe working environment.
Oversee employees, including training, coaching and mentoring.

Person Specification

A minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment with at least 1 year in a supervisory role
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Strong analytical skills and problemsolving abilities
The ability to operate in a face paced environment with changing demands
