The UK and Cities Bid Coordinators are located across our UK offices.

Working closely with the other UK BD team members and reporting into the Senior Bid Coordinator this role will involve:


  • Supporting bids led by our key Work Winning community who are based in our UK offices.
  • Supporting the management of the project pipeline


This role will form part of a wider BD team based across the Bath, Leeds and Manchester offices, therefore willingness and ability to travel (when permitted) to these offices occasionally is required.


Key Duties

:


  • Ensure all bids follow the UK Bid Request process before agreeing to support.
  • Review bid documentation identifying requirements and deadlines, and raising potential issues.
  • Check with the Commercial and Legal Team is informed where necessary to ensure that contractual and legislative requirements are met.
  • Participate in Bid Kick-Off meetings for significant bids to capture the win themes, key team members, case study projects and support preparation of the bid timeline.
  • Collate submission documents ensuring accuracy of input, proofreading and spell checking.

Your experience and qualifications

:


Required experience

:


  • Previous bid coordination experience.
  • Strong copywriting and copyediting skills.
  • Previous experience of coordinating and managing tight deadlines.
  • Excellent computer and IT skills including; Adobe Design Standard (InDesign specifically), Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and experience of using spreadsheets and databases.

Desirable experience

:


  • Previous experience within an architectural practice, construction or engineering industries would be an advantage.
  • Membership / Certification in APMP (Association for Proposal Management Professionals).
