Job Description:


The Care Companion role includes:


  • Visiting regular clients, in their homes for a
    minimum of 1 hour to support with a variety of needs including, but not limited to personal care, emotional wellbeing, keeping socially and physically active and offering a listening ear.
  • Communicating with families and nurses as part of the care team.
  • Involvement in designing care plans and implementing creative ideas to encourage a better quality of life.
  • Participating in quarterly team meetings to support each other in our roles.

Qualifications:


Our initial 3-day training Programme covers all areas of knowledge you require to fulfil your role as a Care Professional.

Thereafter you will be introduced to suitable clients in an informal setting to find out who they are as individuals and discuss their care needs.

Shadowing visits are put in place with one of our Senior Care Professionals to ensure that you are comfortable with your role.

You will have continuous access to speak to someone for support and guidance if needed.
