The post of Campus Safety Liaison Officer is a newly created position for BMet.

The successful applicant will join our Campus Safety Team, primarily based at our Matthew Boulton College (Jennens Road, B4 7PS), but covering all sites, including Great Barr, Sutton Coldfield and Erdington Skills Centre.

Working alongside security officers and the Student Experience Teams, the officer will improve student behaviour through support and intervention, expertly using recognised methods of positive engagement and de-escalation, patrolling, and building a safe and friendly environment for students and staff.

The post holder will understand and work well in Birmingham's young and diverse community, developing relationships with community leaders, authority representatives and other groups.
