Principal legal assistant is open to those who have substantial working experience in family law and are working towards qualifying as either a Barrister, Solicitor or Legal Executive.

The post holder is required to undertake 60% of the duties of a lawyer.

_ About you._

You will have the following skills and capabilities:

  • A good working knowledge and understanding of the law relating to family public law
  • An ability to work under pressure and meet competing demands
  • Strong organisational skills to ensure deadlines are met
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and drafting skills
  • An ability to manage a caseload
  • Advocacy skills or a willingness to develop
