Description
Seven Resourcing are looking for a temporary Personal Assistant to work in Durham. This position is initially for a period of 6 months and is paying £11.18 per hour. (2 x days in the office, 3 x days at home).The role:
The role is to provide personal assistant support and secretarial support to a Head of Service or Strategic Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
To operate word processing equipment to produce documents, reports, letters etc., from copy and dictation.
To produce and update spreadsheets and presentations including PowerPoint.
To make arrangements for meetings including the booking of venues, sending invitations, organising agendas and taking minutes.
Undertake progress/chasing tasks arising from meetings.
The preparation, production and presentation of documents and minutes from own notes and from a variety of sources of information.
To process mail, answer and deal with telephone and personal enquiries and correspondence on behalf of the Head of Service or Strategic Manager.
Set up and maintain filing systems.
Organise travel, accommodation and hospitality requirements.
Effectively communicate with Elected Members, Senior Officers in the Authority, and with representatives of other agencies and members of the public.
Applicant Requirements:
Qualifications:
NVQ in Business Administration.
Experience:2+ years working within a similar role.
Compliance:
Proof of right to work in the UK and references covering the last 2 years.
Travel:
Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently.
Hours:37.5 hours p/w.
